The CEO and founder of SurveyLocal, Chad Williams, sat to talk with Link’d AM about the importance of online reviews. Inspired by the frustrations negative online reviews can cause, Chad created SurveyLocal to help businesses control the online dialog. As a keynote speaker at the Social Media Carnival, Chad focused on the importance of social media and the role that a business’s online reputation will have in the success or failure of that company. SurveyLocal was created to make it easy for happy customers to leave their positive remarks online, while giving unsatisfied customers an outlet to vent their feelings directly to the company. Serving over 300 customers from around the nation, SurveyLocal continues to help small businesses in every industry increase their online ranking on public review platforms. The company has recently completed an initial round of investing and gathered over $350,000 in funding while expanding on a multinational level. SurveyLocal will continue to assist small business keep up with the fast-changing times of social media and use online reviews to build their company.
